Hi XD

Thank you so much for your fave on my wallie - . . Transcedental Night . . . I'm really glad you liked my wallie :D

Have a Nice Week

WOW GO KYO AND TOHRU!

I'm sorry that you felt offended in my thread. I apologize.
Well. ChristXcizer is let's say, a little overjelous of Christianism. I felt him a little too radical, but never tougth someone would be offended. I like tolerance.
You know, I'm a Catholic activist that works with kids. But here, in Yucatan, Mexico,Catholicism mixed up with the what left of mayan traditions.
So, our jungles, towns, and even the cities are populated by spirits, old ghosts, ancient damnations. Our shamans (called H'Men) pry to both God and the ancient gods.
My mother's family owned some ranches. The big one, San Miguel Tixcancal, was my favorite. It was built by the Spanish from the ruins of a mayam pyramid. Under it there was a cave, a cenote filled with water. So, since a kid, I felt in love with the jungle, the animals, the spirits, the stories about dark witches (called Uays).
And haven't forgot about that.
So, it isn't exactly my beliefs, but I respect them. Because I have had my share of strange things. Yes, I have seen some, I call them "mischievous spirits". But, you know, here 70% of the people has seen something. It's in our roots. And souls.
So, it sounds interesting hearing of someone thatis both Christian and Wicca. In the case of the beliefs of the mayam people, it's called sinchretism.
I hope we can talk about that. See You

have a nice day XD xxx bye bye

Heh, nice to meet someone whos born on same day, just different year ^_^'

Hi hi

Quote by kyo-tohru-1985Wiccans celebrate the 8 Sabbats - We don't necessarily worship the Earth, but we do hold it sacred, and celebrate the cycles and the seasons, as well as the traditional harvest days.
Wicca is polytheistic - Not all Wiccans follow precisely the same path when it comes to Deity, but typically we believe in multiple Gods and Goddesses often taken from different cultures and time periods. Many Wiccans will work with 1 or 2 Deities, rather than worshipping the entire gamut.
Wiccans do practice magick - Magick and spells are part of our religion. This sometimes seems far-fetched to those who don't understand. Forget every magick spell you've ever seen on TV or in the movies. Magick is nothing more than utilizing the energy that exists around us in nature. It's a delicate art that takes time, study and practice to master. We don't spend our days casting spells willy-nilly.
Wiccans do gather in covens - The media has made this sound more sinister than it really is. A coven can be any number of people (not just 13), and involves a group of Wiccans who gather regularly for ritual, magick, study and celebration. It's not that mysterious at all. Many Wiccans are not part of any coven, and folks who work alone are called 'solitaries'.

That is what a wicca is ok ^_^

Thank you for your detail explanation. It is truly a good summary about Wicca's and their beliefs.

Though I must said that I knew most of it because I did research on this subject a long time ago.

Perhaps my English was not clear, what I meant is that by the Bible (Catholic Holy book) forbids having other gods/Deities. Furthermore, practice of witchcraft/magic, pageantries is one of the greatest "sin" for lack of better words.

Thank you for taking your time answering my posts in your guestbook,

Yu-huang
